About Me

I am a costume designer who uses my knowledge in Fashion and Cinema to create intricate and unique stories through costumes. My nuanced attention to color theory and intense research add to my creative style for designing garments.

My love of costume design began when I was 12 years old, by creating dresses out of recylced materials for a high school fashion show. My passion towards creating unconvential materials into wearable art in order to decrease the enviromental impact from the garment industry continues in my carreer today.

After moving to Savannah, Georgia to attend the Savannah College of art and Design, I majored in Production Design with a concentration in Costume Design and a minor in Film and Television.

My mission is to approach costume design as a way of creative storytelling that spans many different genres and types of entertainment. This is reflected by my wide variety of designs across multiple platforms including theatre, short films, scripted fashion shows, and commercials. As the leader of multiple costume projects, I have found collaboration to be the key of success. Being able to discuss ideas amoungst all different types of art department teams is very important to me as a designer.

While my work spans a range of categories, my concentrated skill set has led me to a focus on historical pieces. By connecting historical accuracies, the overall vision for the production design, and unique colors and textures helps to tell the story of the characters through the clothes they wear.
