Persinette
A gothic horror short film based on the original fairytale variations of "Rapunzel". The story is set in the Victorian Era and follows a young woman named Persinette, who was adopted as a baby by the head abbess of a convent. Once the nuns realized her hair possessed magical properties, they hid her away to ensure her saftey. One day, a young doctor visits the convent and discovers Persinette singing in her room. After many secret visits the following days, he asks her to run away with him.

Carved in Stone is one of the first web series ever shot on the XR volume stage. The story follows Amelia Sloane, a gifted historian and photography student, who believes that the valuable artifacts of the world belong with their people, not locked up in a glass case in some museum. After the tragic death of her mentor on an expedition-gone-wrong, Amelia is shocked to learn that she has inherited his collection of rare and valuable artifacts, including the legendary sword Excalibur. Amelia is tasked with returning the sword to the stone from which it came, but when she entrusts the sword to the wrong hands, it becomes a race with the fate of the world at stake.

Shoots and Ladders is a story about a little girl named Kyla as she transitions from her mom’s care to her dad’s. One of the characters from her imagination, The Bad Man, constantly tries to get Kyla into trouble. Through her eyes, we see how real-world problems such as divorce and unemployment affect her parents, and how she perceives (or doesn’t perceive) these problems.

Sisters; they’ll kill each other, they’ll kill for each other. Chaos ensues when rebellious fifteen-year-old, Casey, is caught red-handed using her older sister, Alex’s vibrator. Disgusted by Casey’s betrayal (and total lack of hygiene), the two sisters' inevitable argument takes a turn and quickly escalates into a full-on catfight. This is just one of the things Alex won’t miss when she leaves for college in a few days. The Truth Cums Out is a ripping comedic rivalry that speaks to true sisterhood.

Vagabond
Vincent is a French international student coming to the U.S. for his studies. As his plane lands, he panics, fearing to have lost his passport. This anxiety stays with him as he goes to be processed through border control. However, the border control officer can’t find any country that matches his passport type. As far as they know, he comes from nowhere. As he is taken away for interrogation, he is put up against the cold and dehumanizing system that won’t listen to him. He therefore has to learn to overcome his anxiety, and stand up for himself in this place where no one else will.

The Wright Square Vintage Commercials is an ad campaign that showcases the hidden treasures inside a small buisness antique store in Savannah, Georgia. Each ad follows an item (bracelet, typewriter and camera) throughout the years and how it eventually ends up in the store.
